Bro. Marvin Jones is a native of Anniston, Alabama. He was baptized into Christ on December 22, 1974 under the leadership of the late Bro. James Watson, Sr. at 14th St and McDaniel Ave Church of Christ. Bro. Jones worked as the Assistant Minister at 14th and McDaniel Ave for over 15 years. In November 1984, he began the Feed the Hungry campaign which has served the community faithfully every Thanksgiving Day since then.

Bro. Jones became the senior minister at 14th and McDaniel on November 10, 1996 . In November 1997, the congregation moved to the present location known as 16th Noble St Church of Christ. The congregation is known throughout the brotherhood as "the church that serves with compassion".

Under Bro. Jones's leadership, there have been other ministries implemented at 16th Noble St such as Back to School program, Nursing home visitation, Community Feast Day, and Food/Clothing Donation Drive. 

Bro. Jones has been married to Sis. Mary (Moore) Jones for the past 45 years. They have one daughter, Chiba Jones Wilson, who is married to Terry Wilson, Jr, and two grandchildren, Olivia and Liam.

Bro. Nathaniel Maffett was born in Anniston, Alabama on May 10, 1955.  He was added to the church in 1979 under the leadership of the late Bro. J.W. Pitts Sr. at E & Christine Church of Christ, where he served as the Associate Minister from 1981 – 1985. 

In the latter part of 1985 Bro. Maffett served as associate minister at the 14th & McDaniel Church of Christ under the late Bro. James A. Watson Sr.  

In 1999 Bro. Maffett became the assistant minister of the 16th & Noble Street Church of Christ (formerly the 14th & McDaniel Church of Christ) under the leadership of Bro. Marvin Jones.

Bro. Maffett is married to Sis. Teretha (Gooden) Maffett and God blessed them with 3 children, Nathaniel, Dedra and Marcellus. Bro. Maffett works closely with Bro. Jones and the leadership to ensure that the teachings of the Church is in accordance with God's divine plan.
